CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE PROGRAM ?

An internship with epakistantrade.org is very different because it is a "Managed Process".
What do we mean by a "Managed Process" and how does it benefit you?  We have studied all of the components of the internship process, all of the steps required to secure an internship and all of the factors that can influence positively and negatively on an internship.  We then manage those variable components.  For you it means a hassle-free internship in a position that gives you experience in your field of study.   All the big issues and the small details are addressed for you in advance.   From making sure that your internship is meaningful down to your transportation to the job each day has been worked out in advance.  We have made provisions for your living accommodations, your cooking utensils, your linens, etc. and have made arrangements for special cultural programs and seminars, all in advance of your arrival.

E-pakistantrade works on a contract basis.  We have defined clients that are interested in providing internships for students like you.  We assist them in developing positions that interns can fill to gain experience in defined fields of study.  As part of this process we make sure that the work you will be doing is meaningful.  This is not to say that you can be expected to do some boring jobs, but the main thrust will be to give you assignments that will allow you to learn and experience your field of study.   Once we have obtained a position description and the number of students needed, we go to our data bank of students and find those students whose background and field of study most closely match the position description.  This is why it is important for you to have your resume and application in our database as early as possible.  Even a year or eighteen months in advance is okay and to your advantage.

After we have matched students to the position, we call you to discuss the position we have available and gauge your interest in taking the assignment.  Once we have narrowed the field to those most interested, we then present the candidates to our client for review.  Once you have been accepted for an internship position you will be required to send in a 750 administrative  fee to secure this position, which is refundable if for some reason the internship is cancelled.

We (you and us) have worked out your arrival day, start day and, we have completed your applications and you have your registration in hand. 

When you arrive in your host corporation one of our staff will be there to assist you.  Our staff member is there to answer questions and help you get settled in.  this person will review with you all of the things you need to know so that when he/she leaves you will be ready for your internship. you will be greeted by your host company who will help you get started with your first assignment.
